Father Daniel Reehil was born on Mineola, NY on August 4, 1965, to parents Dan and Gladys; he is the oldest of four children. His father was a NYC Fire Chief and his mother was a court reporter after the children were in school.
After graduating from the University of Dayton, he worked in Global Trade and Finance in Manhattan for American Express and Citicorp for ten years, and then three years as the Sales Director of a Corporate Communications PR Firm.
In 1998, Fr, Reehil made a pilgramage to the village of Medjugorje in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This was a life altering trip upon which he experienced a miraculous conversion after being away from the church for twenty years. This is where the seeds of his vocation to the priesthood were planted when the priest who heard his twenty-year confession told him that he believed he had a vocation to the priesthood.
Upon his ordination on July, 26th, 2014, Fr. Reehil was assigned to St. Edward Parish in Nashville TN as the Parochial Vicar; two years later he was elevated to Pastor.
Beginning July 27th, 2020, Fr. Reehil was made Pastor of St. Catherine of Siena Church in Columbia, TN, and the Vicar Forane of the Southern Deanery. He is also the exorcist for the Diocese of Nashville, and the National Director of Radio Maria USA where he has a daily radio program called Battle Ready with Fr. Dan Reehil.
Fr. Reehil has been the National Director for Radio Maria USA since 2020. Under his leadership Radio Maria has flourished and expanded into new states and expanded the listening audience. His greatest joy is brining people to Jesus through His mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary!
